honestly if you show them you're trying hard, even if you're not doing well if you try hard teachers will respect you for that and like you better and try to help you more. that's what a teacher is, they are teachers because they want to help and teach kids and when they see a student that really wants to learn and works hard they appreciate it and like you in return.

if you want them to like you ask lots of questions (good ones though) and go for help whenever you can ^^ plus study on your own first, if you go in for help without even trying that's still good but not really try to do it yourself and then ask for help .... teachers love that ^^

Having been a teacher for more than 20 years, I really yearn to see a model student who will do all her homework, pass her exams and be well behaved in class. That makes my teaching her a breeze and a delight as i can concentrate on my teaching instead of nagging her about her homework or having to discipline her for flouting the rules.

Teachers want to see students set high goals. Goals that will take them to a higher level of thinking. All of this can be done with TEAM WORK!!! YES!!! TEAM WORK. There are students who need that extra help but hey why not walk that "extra mile "and help them become better productive citizens. Maybe you are that "one" person who will make the difference in that student's life. Maybe you are the one who opened doors for that student when maybe other doors were closed. What if this student becomes the President, the next person to go to the moon, next greatest scientist, or the next doctor who will save your life. What do teachers want to see in students?  Honesty, Respect not only for themselves but for others. Self-control, being truthful,being responsible always pursing excellence, never giving up, if they seem to stumble and fall, get up and try again, hard work, perseverance.
