  1. There is a lot of p**p to scoop.

  2. The students are like animals.

  3. both jobs suck

  4. If you give kids food as positive reinforcement, you can usually get them to do what you want...same as training an animal.  (I have personal experience with both.)

  5. Both contain animals and try to educate them

  6. Somehow, if you are asking this question as a student teacher to be,  then teaching is not the place for you.

Kids are not animals. They are little human beings. If you want to compare teaching to zookeeping, then that is your choice.

If you want to be a teacher - a good one - then it is the kids you have in mind, not some animal.

If for questioning sake - what do they have in common -  they are dependent on you for their safety and protection; they both need love and attention; they need to know that you are there when they need you; they may hit you or bite you if you don't communicate well with them -

Not sure if this answers your question...

  7. Long hours, little pay, not much recognition

  8. Hi , i think maybe teaching and zoo keeping have in commen are well you have to look after the kids , which also you have to do with the animals . You also have to feed them ( the animals and tell the children when its lunch time) and in a weird kind of way , its really the same type of responsibility , you have to look after them because their a living breathing thing . thats all i can  think of really lol . x
