I'd pay higher prices for an energy efficient home for myself.   I'd pay higher taxes for a year if it would go towards weatherproofing low income houses who get free (I pay in taxes) heat if it would pay back for itself and taxes would be lowered thereafter.

I think they d**n sure didn't ask me, or anybody I know.  We can hardly afford it, especially if Obama's 845 million dollar relief bill for global poverty goes through, along with the Dream Act, added as an amendment to the Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations bill (H.R. 3043).  That's the amnesty bill, folks....the same one that got soundly trounced when it was attempted before.  Yep, they're trying to slip it in again.
