  1. Five continents.

Asia is yellow, black Africa, the European blue, red is the Americas, Oceania is green.

  2. I only know the Chinese version of the Olympic rings. They stand for mascots.

Blue ring - Beibei - Fish

Black ring - Jingjing - Panda

Red ring - Huanhuan - Olympic torch

Yellow ring - Yingying - Tibetan Antelope

Green ring - Nini - Swallow.

If you put them together, they say 'Welcome to Beijing.'

    Hope that helps!

  3. They represent the 5 continents that participate in the olympics.

North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe.

  4. The five rings represent the five continents. They are interlaced to show the universality of Olympism and the meeting of the athletes of the world during the Olympic Games.  On the Olympic flag, the rings appear on a white background. Combined in this way, the six colours of the flag (blue, yellow, black, green, red and white) represent all nations.  It is a misconception, therefore, to believe that each of the colours corresponds to a certain continent.
