I heard that there is a bitter rivalry between the nations, that started in a German-Netherlands soccer game years back. Also I would like to know because my cousin says the Dutch dislike Germans, even though before WWII the Dutch nearly considered themselves German.

  1. well Deutchland , is similar to Dutchland

  2. They love them like a big brother

  3. Actually the Dutch very much opposed the German Reich, so the Dutch were German to the extent the Germans followed behind the Social Dems and not the Fascists. However, the Dutch were very unsuccessful in protecting the victims of the holocaust, unlike the Danes who were successful at it.

The Reichstag building burning down was blamed on a Dutch Communist.  The Dutch are generally less orderly and less authoritative than the Germans. But in times of peace, they are quite similar.

But Germany today is not the Germany that committed this atrocity, so I'm not being fair.

  4. Deutsche sind verfluchte Hunde!

  10. Your cousin is right.

There is nothing but trouble when they meet each other.

    They punch each other,

    they kick each other,

    they twist each others ears,

they yell at each other and

they throw things at each other.

The bathroom floor is swimming when they finally get out of the tub.
