It's a plain crazy country, I think most Chinese hold the same attitude towards NK like westerners.

On the other hand, NK is an important buffer zone for China.

North Korea is one of the most important allices of china in asia. the whole asia is influence by US except Myanmar, Vietnam and NK, so china need to control NK if the communist government still want to be in power.

North Korea & China are communist brothers and for centuries, they are close pal & partners.  No doubt, they speak differently but think likewise and share similar culture.

Current Nuclear problem in N Korea with the world is also a help-out issue handled by China.
