  1. They represent band pass frequencies. You can boast up the range you like to here the more.  Lower Hz is bass and low notes. The higher Hz are voice and higher notes.


  2. Basically three levels of sound, bass or low frequencies, mid-range, and high or treble frequencies.

    Boosting or + will increase sound levels in these areas ,

    decreasing or - will lower sound levels.

  3. The lower numbers on the 63 Hertz end affect the bass, the middle numbers affect the mid-range (voices, many instruments), and the high end 12,500 Hz affect instruments like cymbals, violins, and speech elements like "S" sounds, and other fricatives.

  4. 63Hz bass

    250Hz mid-range

    1kHz mid-range - mainly voice

    4kHz alto/tenor

    12.5kHz - treble
