What do the following rights and freedoms mean in the society in the book fahrenheit 451?

I know that it is totalitarianism... but what do these mean in that society?

freedom of speech? what can ppl not talk about in farenheit 451?

freedom of press?

protection under the law?

the right to vote? do ppl even vote in totalitearian states?

  1. Im doing a project on this book in class and I believe that the answers are:

    Freedom of speech- they cant talk about things becasue that would make them think and thats why there not allowed to read books because then the people get different ideals and they have different views.

    Freedom of the Press- They dont publish anything because people dont like ot reaad anything becaus ethey have the Palors and that is there main way of communication and the Seashell too.

    I dont know the last two i just finished the first part i still have to read the next.
