What do the legal immigrants think about the illegal immigrant problem? ?

I was just wondering if anybody besides the people the media has painted have a problem with it. I cant see how they would support it because its seems to me that having them around only hurts them because of the availability of jobs and rate/hr.

I came here legally, and I am now a citizen.

That said, illegal immigration does not affect me. I would add that, considering the humiliations, disinformation, delays , and many other unpleasant experiences we suffered at the consulate, it looks like karma that some people just skip all that unnecessary mistreat

I don't think that the illegals care.  However, I know that many of the Mexicans, who immigrated legaly to the U.S., and have become U.S. citizens absolutely hate it.  

Well, according to the latest reports illegal immigrants are leaving the U.S. in record numbers.  It has been said that it is a result of a combination of fewer available jobs and the crack-down on illegal immigration.  Don't be surprised if the crime rate drops considerably, especially in the coastal and border states, within the next few months.

OMG - I didnt see anywhere in the posters question about Mexico but right you people think that.  That is very sad!!!  There many illegal immigrants in the US and not ALL of them are from Mexico.  Get a life!

Watching todays media will cause you to think that, and that's exactly what they want. They only talk about one side of the issue, and that's the bad side. If you keep watching the news and read the anti-immigration activists comments on here, it will make you want to join one of the many growing hate groups in America.......and that's exactly what the groups want you to do. The media never talks about the Billions in taxes they pay, the Billions in purchases they make as consumers every year, the hard work they do to keep American Businesses profitable or even the taxes they pay in rent that helps local schools. Every group has a "Bad Seed", and that's all you see on the news when it comes to, especially Mexican Illegal Immigrants. And YES! they do the jobs most Americans won't do at any price.And that is the big reason we have this Farm Labor Crisis that is becoming one of our biggest problems today. More and more immigrants have either left or got deported, but our crime rate is still rising in the U.S., so that proves that they are not the reason we have so much crime, but people on here will tell you different.

I find it really sad actually and not at all threatening.  In the UK, so many people are misinformed and scared of inward migration that it causes lots of needless social problems and creates stereo types in our society.  I for one love the diversity that different countries bring to the table, legal or illegal, poor or rich, educated or uneducated.

Americans finance - illegals pay in cash

Americans take 6 months to a year to build a house - illegals take 1 months to do all the hard work

Americans don't do their own dirty work - illegals clean americans ****

Americans are just jealous about us, cause we work hard and we earn so much money, 5, 10, 100 times more than americans! We buy cars, and we pay everything in cash

well it boils down to the same thing as the drug problem, there is money in it for somebody that is why it does not stop. when you go to a restaurant that hires ilegals do you think they check their health?? the country is being depleded because most illegals dont want to live here they recent this country, they just send money home. this country was founded by imigrants but in the times that we live we have to be very carefull who comes in. I have been here for thirty years have never gone back to my country of origin  cuba because of the regime. and if you are here, like the saying goes, love it or leave it.
