I am trying to find an oil burner nozzle for my gas turbine and am looking at ebay and on this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/DELAVAN-OIL-BURNER-NOZZLE-2-LOT-1-25-60-W-NEW_W0QQitemZ320286903613QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320286903613&_trkparms=72%3A1076|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

I see 2 numbers, 1.25 and 60. I know 60 means 60degrees of spray, but what about the 1.25? Is that flow rate?

  1. I believe the 1.25 means how many gallons of oil it sprays in one hour.

  2. The 1.25 is the "jet bore size " the  measure name escapes me at moment. replace any jet to original manf: size, unless you are technical and replaced a pump or w.h.y. non std:  knibbo.
