  1. HOLD UP SURRENDER FLAG AND GO HOME.

    ............ITS THE ONLY THING REALLY..................

  2. Show up!

  3. A new team.

  4. Kill themselves. Crosby sucks and will never win the Stanley Cup.

  5. Pull the fork and jump out of the oven!!!!!!!!!!

  6. At this point in the Finals I have never seen a more lobsided performance.  Can the Penguins get in it?  Sure.  Do I see a 2-2 series going back to Detroit?  I would be more than a little shocked.  I expect a close game #3, and wouldn't be shocked if Pittsburgh won the game --- but at the same time, I haven't seen anything to show me I should expect it, either.

They need more than one good shift in a row.  They need a lucky break or a great play.  They need something - but they haven't gotten a whiff of it yet.

  7. Nice pic Megan. They will score at least one, dont worry

  8. Puzzled, what playoffs were you watching, in order to say Detroit had a tough road to the playoffs?  Was it the #8 Predators, whom after Osgood was put in were dominated defensively, Colorado, who had enough injuries to fill up an infirmary, or Dallas, whom Detroit's owned for who knows how long?  Both teams had an easy road.  Ozzie said it best when he said that Pittsburgh has never seen or played a team like the way Detroit plays this year.  The only argument Pens supporters can make is that Pittsburgh hasn't lost at home since February.  Then again, they haven't been shut out in back to back games since February...of 2003.  I just think Detroit's out on a mission this year, everything is clicking, and they're trying to prove every non-believer wrong.  They're doing a h**l of a job on that, too.  I honestly don't think there's anything Pitt can do to take this series.  Going back to Pittsburgh, they will play intense, and desperate, and Detroit will be rolling in there as confident as they've been playing.

Think about it:  Pittsburgh has yet to score even a GOAL.  This is the team with at least 4 recent top 5 picks on their team.  The invincible Crosby and Malkin powerhouse.  And they're getting shut down by Detroit's dominating defense.  2 goals scored on them before even getting 1 SHOT on Detroit's net?  No 5 on 5 shots the whole 1st period?  I don't know ANYONE that expected this, and I think the Pens are shaking now.

  9. Win a game.lol

  10. Haha Pitt needs to just score a goal let alone win a game.  They have no class and are a bunch of sore losers.

  11. Malones playing like his heads already in Minnesota, doesn't help  when the team can't get during 5 on 5 hockey.  They need to keep firing the puck from every angle, who knows maybe they will get a lucky bounce.

  12. Experience!  Which means it's not going to happen this year. Don't expect a turn around at the Igloo either, they are just too nervous and intimidated.  You could see it in Crosby's face during the Anthem.  He looked scared.  Not what we're used to seeing.

  13. It's not what the Pens have to do, it's what the Red Wings will fail to do to allow the Pens back into the series. If the Wings continue to do what they're doing - provide excellent puck support, win most of the face-offs and scrums for the puck along the boards, clog up the neutral zone,  play suffocating team defense, and move the puck out quickly from its defensive zone, as well as utilizing the offensive skills of their defenseman, the Pens can call it a season. Pittsburgh has had an easy run through the playoffs to this point, and seems to be overwhelmed by the skill and tempo of Detroit. Detroit, on the other hand,  played three tough series, especially with Dallas, and that prepared them better for the finals, and they are now playing at the top of their game. So unless Detroit gets overconfident and takes their foot off the pedal (which will not happen), Pittsburgh will probably be in for a short series. As a hockey fan (and a Pens fan), Detroit is to be congratulated for their success thus far.....they have demonstrated how to play the game at a high level, and while I agonize over the inability of the Pens to score, I can easily appreciate the game Detroit plays.

  14. get laraque back in the lineup, geno needs to step up, defense needs to play better, no more stupid penalties, shoot the puck more, dont dump the puck everytime, go back to the old lines but with roberts in for kennedy or hall, and make better passes.  expect a different pens team when they get back to the Mellon and dont count on shutouts or sweeps Wings fans.  LETS GO PENS

  15. I wanted a tight series too, but after Robert's sucker punch on Franzen, knowing Franzen could have wound up in the hospital or worse, I hope it's the first four game sweep, all by shut outs.

Gary Roberts deserves to have his career end this way.

  16. play offense. spread the ice. throw some fists. fight early on. Malkin needs to learn how to grow a beard.

  17. Shoot the puck and smack Malone upside the head if he keeps getting stupid penalties. Dang he played like a fool!

  18. the penguins need to stop playing like well..........cuddly penguins, they need to be more physical. Cromwell is  a physiacl dude. Someone just needs to lay his a$$ out. Being more physical might swig momentum. Right now they are deer in a headlight. mabey laraque or ruttu need to get into a fight and win or something.

  19. we need defense and for Ryan Malone to stop getting penalties.

  20. Play hockey. (as opposed to whatever it is they've been doing so far) I watched most of the playoff games, and as much as I want the Wings to win, I'd like them to have a little competition, I was really surprised at how poorly the pens are playing so far.

  21. Quit dumping and chasing the puck, cut the neutral zone turnovers, and it'd probably help if Osgood would stop diving.  That about sums it up.

  22. they have to sustain pressure, stop taking stupid penalties, and above all, score.

  23. Generate more shots pressure on the net. pressure on  the Wings defense. the need to use their speed to move the puch through the neutral zone. oh ya the need to put at least 1 puck into the net and it needs to be the first goal of the game. They might take 1 of the next two games if they can get it going. but don't expect a Stanley cup this year! GO WINGS!

Hey just like there is no crying in baseball, there is no feeling bad for the other team in hockey! there is no one but Stars fans feeling sorry for your team.

  24. Show up and score.
