What do the people fall onto in the game show Russian Roulette?

In the game show (on GSN), the contestants fall straight down. So you know how long the drop is? And what do you land on? I was thinking you would fall in a pool of water, or fall on something padded. Thanks!

There is a padded that is about 4 to 5 feet down  I know I seen it it on a TV show were they said it  because some one was over 6feet tall and they had to duck down when they fell
