In a seed of a dicotyledon you have a plumule and a radicle. What do these turn into after the plant has been germinated?

  1. Plumule forms the shoot (aboveground parts) and Radicle forms the root.

    Its easy to remember, R for Root and R for Radicle.


  2. plumule turns into the stem apex and radicle into the primary (tap) root
