What do the rockies want from the mets for Holliday?

Im pretty sure the mets will not give up carlos beltran in any deal. Minaya loves him and he is a great centerfielder. Im looking at the mets getting brian fuentes and holliday for Aaron heilman a draft pick fernando Martinez (top prospect) and 2 other players from the minors.... Even though we are giving up our top prospect we are getting a top 5 outfielder in the league...Especially if after the year is over we can lock him into 5 or 6 year contract probably worht about 65- 75 million being the scott boris is his agent..... Its pretty much worth it if Matt Holliday can produce the numbers he has so far.

dont know why every team wants matt holliday, im a cardinals fan and i feel queezy everytime someone thinks the cards should trade for him. look at his stats outside of coors everybody (5 hrs, 14 rbis in 40 games this year, he has more strikeouts on the road than rbis in each of the last 4 years)!!!  they are simply average, and definitely not worth the money he will command and the players the rockies would command to get him.  The mets can not afford him money and prospect wise, and would be wise not too try to go after him.

He would be another Moises Alou flop

I don't think he'll be a met, but he will leave Colorado and be not great, without playing in Coors Field half the season, he is an average player

i dont see that happening..the mets gave up 4 prospects to get Santana and i cant see them giving up another 3 for Holliday. they would be turning into the Yankees of a few years ago, who just sold their entire farm system to try and win

it would be foolish for the Mets to give up more than 2 guys in a trade deal because, even though their outfield is depleted, they still need to think about the future, not just the present
