I'm a new skater (26 yrs old I KNO REAL LATE) but i couldn't get it down as a kid (and my mom wouldn't get me a board) but the guy at the shop used the silver crews to tell me where the higher pitch on the board is...but thing is... I have seen and heard they are to designate the front of the board...then i heard its the back... i want to know which is right and maybe a link to back it up lol

THANKS

  1. well therye supposed to specify the front of the board but if your board is symetrical there is no nose or tail but is you have a cruiser board then the bigger side is the nose and the thinner side is actually the tail so it really doesnt matter with symetrical boards but with cruiser boards and pintail boards it does kinda help to have the nose in while riding

  2. they usually are put to show where the nose(front) of the board is...but it doesnt really matter... you can do tricks on both the nose and tail

  3. Honestly it doesn't really matter but the way I look at it is the bigger side of the board is the tail and the smaller is the nose, but when I get on the board I don't worry about being on the tail, ect because I doubt it effects any of the tricks I do. Have fun skateboarding I started at age 17 took me at least 6 months to catch on if cuz am  a fast learner :)

  4. I don't know much about skateboards, but here is a link that specifically says "2 silver screws on front"
