Contracts are confidential but the top players such as Chris Judd are rumoured to be on about 900,000 + playing contracts .The top earners also get a large slice of their clubs marketing budget outside of the salary cap for endorsements and use of their image .Potentially a player could earn up to 2 million per year from there club

Matt Giteau is on $1.5 million per season.

Unfortunately, he plays for the Western Force and not his home team the ACT Brumbies.

But he's a Wallaby too.  And that's great.

It wouldn't surprise me if rugby league players got paid the most.    I mean there's gotta be SOME sort of incentive to play the game...

In Australia, AFL players are payed the most. You really cant be exact when saying how much they earn per year. Im not sure about RL or RU, but I know that in Europe players get payed more for League and Union than in Australia.
