What do these Japanese kanji symbols mean? They are kanji, right?

  1. The font is hard to read. I tried the closest font my computer can handle and this is what came out:

    (you need to concentrate on the right side for this one)

    The first one means receive, take, pass (an exam/interview), among others.

    The second one means gender or something s*x-related.

    Are these 2 characters together? If they are written like this: 感受性, it means receptivity or sensitivity.

    However, as I mentioned earlier, the fonts are hard to read. They may actually be different than what I thought. They may be original Chinese characters.
