lisscal is right. The first answer is a joke thats not even a mri of the brain let alone is he/she right about MRIS.

MRI is basicly a photo of your brain useing magnets to detect the amount of oxyen it is using.

Those are axial slices through your knee joint.  You can see the patella or knee cap on the top of the images. All of the white stuff is fluid.  So you have a joint effusion or "water on the knee"......
