I am a black male age 22 6ft tall and weight about 310 but its mostly solid and while I wear glasses I just don't wear them all the time. for most of my life the majority of my dreams have been watched from an overhead view like a movie and either have one of three main subjects me as a hero, me having s*x, or me working as like a detective or some high level decision maker. but the weird thing is that each type of dream has a different version of me. the dreams with me as a hero feature me as I look now. The dreams that involve me having s*x tend to feature a smaller more muscular version of myself but with the same bashful personality I have now and the 3rd me Is older looking like in my 30s i guess with a short afro and always has glasses on and is always dressed up either in a suit or a short sleeved shirt and a trench coat. this older version of myself is usually telling other people what to do which I rarely do now. so if u have any thoughts on it let me know.

  1. Your dream is really self-explanatory. The three "self's" that you dream about are the subconscious "people" that you would like to be, but are in one body--yourself. You say that in life, your rather shy, which is very unlike any of the three personalities that you are in your dreams, but they represent the one personality that you believe you truly are. You believe that you are a responsible (detective), caring (hero), person that is ready for a relationship (buff guy) and you really hope that someone notice's that you have all of these qualities in the guy you are now. You are searching for someone that will see all of these qualities so that you can be who you really are: a responsible, nice, caring, sweet guy who  wants someone to love and appreciate him.

  2. One interpretation:

The common factor for your three types of dream is your ability to observe yourself.

Note that this characteristic is similar to your "future vocation" pattern:  observing other people, like a detector or supervisor.

Thus, this may be a key for your vocation or "calling."  It is possible that this is a talent, but needs to be developed.

The "hero" motif is more likely your self-esteem expressing itself, and the "s*x" motif is more likely the typical masculine expression of dominance, masculinity.  These are more "personality," while the "supervisor" is more profound or individuating.

You might enjoy "Emotions," Marilyn Barrick, Ph.D., "Soul Traveler," Albert Taylor,

    "Freakonomics," S. Levitt, and

"The Great Divorce," C. S. Lewis.

  3. many of us battle with multiple personalities in our dream worlds.  These personalities reflect the type of people we'd like to be, like others to see us as, and even the people we're afraid of being.  Many times these dream world personalities are extremities of each side, or aspect, of our true, everyday personalities.

Your various personas seem to reflect the fact that you may have issues with confidence in appearance and feelings of 'self-importance.'

  4. Maybe it means you want to be a masculine hero who gets lots of s*x and you like to steer people in the right direction. Meaning, you want to become someone who can help others and you want to become more confident in yourself so that you live a happy life and can make other peoples lives happy with advice and figuring out things for them like what to do how to do it ect.

  5. Basic wish-fullfillment dreams. You want to be admired as a hero, you want s*x, you want to be leaner, more muscular, you want people to listen to you & follow your directions,  you want to be sucessful in an interesting carer in the future. You You You! Good Luck!
