  1. well they are a fricken good baseball team

plus they have a few injures that helps out that lineup for whitness

  2. Who cares about color.. honestly.  I'm pretty sure Theo Epstein doesn't say oh! we are only gonna go after whites! no. not at all. They go by talent, and Boston's got some good scouts. They know what they're doing and they're doing something right because they've been winning games and world series.

  3. huh? what does that have to do with anything?

  4. ok yankees got canoe and   duh thats it

  5. What is your point....

  6. Sorry but Ellsbury is Native American or at least part

  7. Is there a problem with people having teams that aren't perfectly divided up among races? Look at the NFL, there are no starting white running backs on *ANY* team. Look at the NHL, only what 10, 11 black men playing. Why not complain that neither the MLB nor the NFL nor the NHL nor the NBA nor any other major professional sport has any women in them?

People don't pick people because of their race anymore, that has hopefully been flushed out of the system. If you look at the Boston Red Sox they have put together a quality team which yes, happens to be mostly white but if you look in their history they have had many different players come in and out of Boston who are "colored".

    Edgar Renteria

    Manny Ramirez

    Pedro Martinez

    Julio Lugo

    and so many more.

Just because a team doesn't have many colored starters in their lineups doesn't mean that they are racist or something else, it just means that the players they put together with the payroll, personalities, physical and mental ability, and other attributes happened to be all white.

  8. What about Big Papi at DH.

  9. In fairness, Lugo is hurt and Crisp has played a lot. And you didn't mention David Ortiz.

No question that all of baseball needs to do a better job in the African-American community, though. Doesn't just apply to the Red Sox.

  10. uhh i dont see whats the problem why dont you go in the hockey section and complain about only 11 black NHL players
