"We said there warn't no home like a raft, after all. Other places do seem so cramped up and smothery, but a raft don't. You feel mighty free and easy and comfortable on a raft."

Then away out in the woods I heard that kind of a sound that a ghost makes when it wants to tell about something that's on its mind and can't make itself understood, and so can't rest easy in its grave, and has to go about that way every night grieving.

Human beings can be awful cruel to one another.

“Every animal is grateful for kindness and petting, and they wouldn’t think of hurting a person that pets them.”

i need sortof like a statement telling what these quotes means

its for school, but i cant understand these well

  1. You are just trying to get someone to do your homework for you!  These quotes are way too easy to understand, and you can't be so dull as to not know what they mean!

    Cheers!

  2. It is many years since I read Huckleberry Finn, and I really cannot remember details of the novel other than very generally.  However, these sites should help you with your work with it.
