I tore my pectoral muscle moving ,what do they medically do for this?Thanx

  1. Depending on the severity of the tear it may require surgery. If it doesn't require surgery rest and treatment with ice and heat will help. Immobilizing and limiting the mobility of movement is key. When surgery is called for the surgeon will reconnect the muscle, but in most cases the muscle will never be as strong or as flexible prior to the injury. Rehabilitation with this injury is long and painful.
