What do they drink in Australia?

Question

what do they drink in Australia? not like alcohol but like the average every day drink, like in the U.S. we are big on carbonated drinks like Coke and Root Beer

Actually, the people in the US I know hardly ever drink Coke, but do tend to drink a lot of bottled water -- and coffee, a LOT of coffee.

PS:  I know you asked about Australia, but I thought your US comment was not quite accurate.

Well I don't know what the  average Australian drinks . But I live in Australia and I drink mostly bottled water , orange juice , green tea (the hot kind) and skim milk .

My mum drinks mostly coffee or water and my sister drinks mostly coffee , coke and water .

My housemate drinks a lot of sprite , coke and energy drinks.

personally, Pepsi, Coke, Sarsaparilla (root beer) lemonade (you call it sweet soda), soda water and lime juice .. most Australians are not big on carbonated drinks and drink a lot of water or fruit juice
