What do they look for in a building inspection during the sale of a home?

We have our house on the market and have accepted an offer. We are having a routine building inspection and I am just curious as to what they will be looking for?

  1. well detailis wise they look for foundation termites roof probs leaks,bugs,and check the struchture


  2. They check the roof to see if it needs to be replaced, they look for evidence of termites or dry rot, check the condition of the furnace and a/c, look for any foundation problems, gutter condition, check out what type of electrical wire, perhaps check the plumbing.

  3. mostly on the structural of the building, the sturdiness of building materials, whether any of your renovations were  done properly and not affecting the structural, piping, electricity wirings ..
