  1. If you want to show off a good cockney accent try "Wouldn't it be Loverly" from My Fair Lady. It's a classic show. The song "I Could Have Danced All Night" is pretty high if you're looking for soprano.

  2. well traditional means something that has been around for a long time..likw for christmas if ur family comes over and u all play hide and seek and u have been doing that for 5 years that is a tradtion

  3. Traditional music theatre generally means pieces that have been around for several years, have been highly acclaimed, and are solidly timeless. They usually stick to the same old style of composition seen in the 40's, 50's, and 60's. Some examples include Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain, My Fair Lady, The Fantasticks, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, The Full Monty, d**n Yankees, A Chorus Line, and Camelot.

The one piece that really stands out for me that might work well for you is "Much More" from The Fantasticks which is a great up-beat, mezzo-soprano piece. It might be a bit difficult finding other traditional pieces that belt that high, though I'm not very well versed in the traditional.

    I hope I helped some.

  4. Traditional musical theater songs generally mean something that's not from a "Pop Musical". So basically no High School Musical, Legally Blonde,  Xanadu, and well... almost anything that's been on Broadway recently (that's not a revival).
