  1. It means everything isn't as good as it looks for others.

You think other people have it easier, and life would be so much easier 'if', but that simply is not the case.

The "grass" (our life experiences) is no less "green" (worse off) than most peoples, even though most times we think it is!

    Hope that helped!

  2. Human beings are constantly looking for "more". Whether it be money, fame, or even love, our natural instincts tell us to go to great heights to achieve what we seem to need. A lot of the time, the ride isn't nearly as smooth as we'd hoped, and, we'll begin to second-guess ourselves. What we once thought would change our lives, may have now dug us a deeper hole, and we'll begin to wonder what was really worth it in the first place. And there's where your question comes in. When this desire for "more" gets us wondering what's on the other side of the fence. If you never peek, you'll never know, and the same plain color will be stuck under your feet. It's those who fight this curiousity that seem to find the greatest joy in life. Just when you thought you needed more - more color, more life, more GREEN - you realize what you already had was really good enough in the first place. It's those who take the extra chance, the gamble, that truly find out if the change in scenery was all worth it. And, when it's not, they quickly find that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

  3. it is suppose to symbolize your situation. so it's like saying that although something/someone/some place may LOOK better than your own, but once you get there, it's not that great after all, and has it's own problems/faults.

so what seems to look good and better, isn't that great after all.....

that may not make much sense, it is sorta had to put in words......

  4. That everyone was a nicer looking yard than I.

  5. That person either ment your in the best position you can be in or you have no choice.

  6. The phrase is "The grass is greener on the other side" which means that no matter how happy or well off you are it always seems that other people are happier and better off than you. Usually its not true.

Its a farming metaphor based on grazing animals for whom the grass seems greener and better on the other side of the field or fence.

  7. Be thankful for what you have right here and now.  Many times we think others have it better than us.  We need to count our blessings.
