What do they mean with a behind the arch shot??

Oh and an outside shot?? I know its prolly a really dumb question to some of you.. I think I know what they mean but I want to know for sure

  1. A Behind the Arch shot is a 3 point shot taken when both the feet of the shooter are behind the semicircle (the arch)

    An Outside shot is any shot taken Outside of the Painted area

    but normally, the announcers refer to it as a shot within about 5 feet of the 3 point line(the arch)

    and dont feel stupid, i didnt know what it meant until i asked my dad what the announcers meant when they said it

  4. Arch- Three point line

    outside shot- Outside the key

  5. Outside shot- any shot outside the paint (including 3s)

    Behind the arch shot- any shot behind the 3 point line.
