  1. Looks we're white (pinkish) and  burn easily in the sun. Brown/red hair and blue eyes are common.

Culture is variable by region and even by local area. People from Galway are different from those in Limerick. And those in Dublin North are different from Dublin South. Clothing is pretty much whatever is in fashion. It is influenced by external trends and modern shows on television. The tartan I have not personally heard of. The fancy getup is for doing Irish dancing professionally when quite a bit can be spent on the outfit. People go out to have fun and in Ireland traditionally this meant going down to the pub (bar) and have a drink with the mates. Good fun in Ireland is known as the Craic.

  2. clothes! normal clothes (jeans t-shirts skirts shoes) 'cept for dancin (my solo dress cost $2000). not much different from anybody else- just a bit nicer! im irish and i have dark brown hair, green eyes, and freckles. traditional clothing isn't worn too often. irish people are usually friendly and like getting together for dancing and parties. good luck on your project.

  3. I'm not sure who "us" is (please don't make the mistake in life of thinking everyone is just like you), but in general, the Irish are light skinned.  Other than that i can't really make a broad generalization.  Like almost every other country, they are all individual.  The world is not so big a place anymore, so the fashion is not much different from the rest of Europe (except maybe more raincoats!)  Honestly, I can't tell the people from Dublin or Galway from the people in any town in the U.S., until i hear the accent.

  4. AHAHAHAHAHAH, Who said tartan? jesus christ that gave me a laugh, you'd swear people thought we ****** highlanders or somethin. We wear pretty much the same clothes as any other developed country, although you have to take consideration of our weather. Cold and wet for most of the year, from about april on wards weather is usually ok-ish!

Tartan! ahahahahah, silly americans answering questions they know nothing about! ahahahah

  5. first point wear is how its spelt . and it all depends wat were doin if were farming we wear wellies and a pair of jeans and a tshirt. and if were out on the town the wellies are replaced with a bair of runners :P and sometimes we dont were anything probly while bathing once a month in the river.

  6. They wear pretty much the same kind of thing we wear here.  Some wear tartans for special traditional occasions like the Scotch do.

  7. Sorry, Im Irish and Ive never seen anyone wear a tartan.. We wear pretty much the same as the rest of europe, not so different to American fashion. A nice fashion we have now for summer is short dress worn over jeans or cropped trousers and flip flops.

For some traditional Irish designs, look up " irish dance costumes" these are traditionally worn for Irish dance contests and shows.
