Question:

What do think of...?

I've noticed that some people on here like to ask questions that they apparently know the answers to already calling them "hard." Do you think that these people are trying to show off in order to maybe make themselves feel special due to some social inadequacies ? Or, instead, do you think that these people are making a valid attempt to challenge others in order to advance their own knowledge as well as the knowledge of all those who attempt to solve those "difficult" or "impossible" problems?

Just curious. Please be polite when you answer and not name any of the people who might be doing this.

  1. actualy i agree with both your assumptions.

  2. Both of your answers may be accurate. Depends on the person. The people might want to have attention, like you said, or they might want to see how many people know, like you said. I also believe that they are just bored.

  3. those are both very probable assumptions but I don't think you can stereo type all people who ask a question like that do it for attention but other that that i agree
