  1. Pesticides

  2. 2 ways chemical and biological control

In chemical control they use various chemicals such as metasystac.... monocrotophos  etc

biological control is the best and safe way as it does not leave any residue... lady bird beetles are widely used these beetles feed obn aphids and safegaurd the crop

  3. Various insecticides (discussed in the link below).

  4. Ladybugs, a farmer would never use grasshoppers because they destroy crops and do not eat aphids

  5. They use a commercial aphid control spray or dust.  Also, beneficial insects are used, like lady bugs and grasshoppers.

  6. Do not use sevin.  The half life corresponds to the life cycle of the aphid.  If you have a small garden and have a heavy infestation of aphids and have a large number of lady bugs, try painting the heaviest infested part of the plant with diesel.  This will kill the aphids and the part of the plant painted.  The lady bugs will avoid the the diesel soaked aphids and eat the ones that are left.  The parts of the plant that were painted will die back, but after 2 weeks; it wont be noticeable.

  7. Just spray them with any piretroid insecticide.

Be aware of the time necessary to wait until it can be sold.

  8. it all depends on the type of vegetable you are growing inorder for you to know which insecticides to use.

  9. Ladybirds. They love munching on aphids and they do no harm to crops. This is the natural remedy for aphid infestation.
