What do tube worms tast like?

You know those white tube-worms with red tips that grow on the lava vents on the seabed? What do you think they taste like? Has anyone ever brought some back to the surface, fried them on a skillet, and had them for dinner? I am very curious what they taste like. And is it legal to hunt them?

  3. I would guess they are poisonous.

    if they live close to those vents, which are some of the most toxic natural locations in the world, they likely have a concentrated amounts of those toxins they have been adjusted to tolerate, but people haven't.
