  1. Small turtles are carnivores. Feed them earthworms, fishes (not goldfish), soft-bodied insects, and strips of liver dusted with bonemeal.

If they haven't been with you long, they may refuse all food until they acclimate to their tank.

  2. If they are under an inch,...you may have to chop up their feeder guppies and lettuce ..

or they are just scared and need time to adjust..Drop about 20 feeder guppies in thier tank and they will eat when they aren't so scared.

Did you know that they need to bask under a reptile light for  8 to 10 hrs a day for the vitamin D that  they need to grow.

Leave the heater on 75 to 78 degrees always.

Their water needs to be clean otherwise they get sick easily from dirty water cause they p**p allot.

You need a good filter system!

You need to feed them feeder guppies, goldfish or minnows for protein and calcium daily. Plus meal wrms garden worms, crickets.

They need leafy greens for vitamins at least 3 to 4 times a

Plus a BIG tank 55 gallons or more soon..

  3. Crickets, earthworms, krill, feeder fish

Most babies enjoy meats rather then vegetables and pellets.

Offer meat along with the pellets to entice them to eat.

Don't feed regular ice berg lettuce. Its like feeding them water. It has no nutrients.

Try Dandelion greens, mustard greens, and safe vegetables.
