What do u call the car lots that contain salvage cars?

I'm looking for a place where u can buy salvaged cars that one can buy and then fix. I seen on pictures of car lots where they contain cars that have been in accidents. I'm located in los angeles, are their any close by. Any good websites to find such lots I'm looking for.

you can try junk yards but thats buying from a reseller. i'd suggest going to a car title company and see what you can do to get license to buy salvaged cars and get into the auto auctions to buy directly where the junk yards buy from.

They are called junk yards...or for the "upscale types"....an Auto parts recycling facility. The other place mentioned by another responder does have what you seek, but you may not be able to buy from them. You must be an auto recycler or otherwise authorized buyer. You can check the stipulations at their website.
