Question:

What do u call this horse movement?

and oh yea.....i writing about a story where horses talk andone rider is really mean so her horse couldnt stand her anymore.....the horse became angry and she did that movement. im not sure if i want the girl to get hurt or still be ok....

  4. when they hold horses in the gate too long they become nervous, they are used to being in the gate for only a minute or so, after that some will get scared and rear up in the gate, also know as acting up. jockey will dismount and the assistant

    starter will reload the horse, jockey will remount and then...and away they go.

  7. in the story you'll want to say "the horse reared up"...  the other answers are correct, it's called rearing...  but in the usual language, you hear people say "reared up" as opposed to just saying "the horse reared"...   i dunno why...  but i think it sounds better...  kinda more ferocious ;o)
