  1. Why is this in the newborn and baby section??

In answer to your question - I would leave it alone for a while. You pulling at it will be making your finger swell up even more. Leave it overnight, then bathe your hand in ice cold water for a while, wash it in oil and try again. Try getting your teeth around the back of it as your jaw is stronger than your hand. If there is simply no budging it then you're only solution is to wait for the swelling to go down completely or get the ring cut off.

  2. First of all, just relax and stop pulling on it.  You are just causing further swelling.  If your finger is seriously discolored, you should probably skip the following steps and head to the ER.

Sit down and hold your hand up in the air to keep it elevated, which will hopefully cause some of the swelling to go down.  After 1/2 hour or so. get a bowl of ice water and hold your hand in it for several minutes.  If you can see that the swellign on your finger has decreased, get some olive oil and rub it into your entire finger and in and around the ring.  When you are nice and lathered up, GENTLY try to pull the ring off while turning it at the same time.  Don't tug and get too rough, or you will just cause more swelling.

  3. Maybe Vaseline, Baby Wash...?

  4. keep pulling under water with soap

if not go to the emergency room so they can take it off

better ruin the ring than your finger

it might stop circulation and they'll have amputate your finger

    i've heard it happen

  5. Time to see a doctor and have it cut off...sorry but you gotta get that thing off before it cuts off your blood circulation and causes the tissue to die and results in the removal of your finger.  Good Luck

  6. Leave it on.

  7. Dental floss.  Wrap a piece of dental floss about 12 inches long very tightly right beside the ring.  This will make that part of the finger smaller.  Slide the ring to the end of the floss.  Remove the floss and continue the steps until the ring comes off.
