Question:

What do u do when all you work background is in childcare but want to do something different ?

I have been trying to find a new job. but this time i want to do some new and different cues all of my work background is childcare and it has been easy at all find one. i really don't want to do child care anymore. i also have a learning disorder so i feel like every one that interviews me looks at my resume and thinks oh all she has done is childcare but can she really do this job so they don't want to take a change and i'm starting to break

  1. you could always argue that doing childcare is one of the hardest jobs around. You have to be able to multitast, be organized, be reliable and be a responsible caring person so having that background is good if you know the right things to say.

    How about becoming a CNA (certified nursing assistant)? It's like a 4-6 week course. I did it for a short time and the course was fairly easy.

    I am like you. I have done mainly childcare for the last 20 years. Now I'm a stay home mom. If I went back to work I'm not sure what I would go to do. I should go back to school. I went to college for early childhood education to be a teacher but I wasn't able to finish.
