  1. What position do you play? There's quite a lot of things you can do at home.

First of all, no matter what position you play, it's important you have developed, explosive leg muscles so you can get to the ball quicker as well as jump higher.

Some drills for this fit for home are some simple plyometrics and strengthening exercises.

    1. Calf Bounces - Get on your toes and try to bounce up and down off your toes repetitively as fast as possible.

    2. Jumping - You can either jump in place or if your house is big, practice with the approach and bring your arms up on the jump to practice the form if you're a hitter.

    3. 1-legged jumps - Just as it says, jump off one leg. You should practice jumping up and down as fast as possible then as high as possible.

    4. Shuffling - Just shuffling around the house and getting used to the movement will help your game a lot. Consider buying a pair of court shoes fit for volleyball if you're a serious player, helps a lot with movement and proper posture for passing once you're used to them.

Of course, those are just some drills related to strengthening your body. If you want to improve your actual game ability, you can try some of the things i do:

    1. Find an open space with a volleyball, stand about 1 1/2 feet back. From here, throw the volleyball up about the height you would in a game for a serve. Once the ball is at your peak reach, hit the ball and try it hold it against the wall without closing your hand over it. This'll help you find the sweet spot on the ball for a serve. You can try do the same while jumping if you want to practice spiking or jump serving. Just make sure to snap your wrist in an actual game if you spike or it'll go out.

    2. Practice proper posture for setting by continuously volleying a ball to yourself. Make sure you're using your elbows and bent knees to make the volley smooth. In a game situation, though, make sure the volleyball is in front of you when you volley, or it'll go backwards on the set.

    3. If you're a spiker, mentally imagine hitting the set from multiple trajectories. I've been setting for 4 years and now I'm playing in high school and suddenly got my growth spurt. My coach is unexperienced and put me as power. Just mentally imagining how to hit the bad sets and even the good ones help a lot with confidence. Kinda like practicing in your head.

That's it, remember that every mistake you make is an opportunity to learn and get better.

  2. well you can do the spikeing drill where you just practice the technique w/o the ball and then diving/sliding also work on the technique you can also do stuff on your knees like volley with yourself except on your knees

  3. well you get a vball that is heavy and lay on your back and do sets that will help you or you can get the vball and lay on your back put the vball between your legs and lift it up ok then bye

  4. do alot of lunges and squats along with sit-ups and crunches if your locked up inside volleyball is all about leg and core strength. http://www.emporia.edu/vball/drills/ is full of different drills you can use for volleyball.

  5. um there is alot of good things to do at home. you can do workouts.  one good thing is to work on your abs.  one ab workout is lay on your back with your legs together laying flat.  lift your legs about 5 inches off the ground and hold it for about 20 seconds (do longer if you can) and keep doing that for about 5 times.  the more you do this the better your abs will get. you can also do a plank.  another thing you can do is you can set the ball to your self (baby sets) another thing you can do is hit a ball against a wall If your parents let you.

  6. lay down on ur bed or on the floor and practice ur baby sets...just to get ur hands on the ball helps alot!!!....then try and do sit ups while doing the baby sets.....it helps ur hand eye coodination and it helps u get sum abs...lol
