What do u do when you burn cubed potatoes on the stove and you want to make mashed <span title="potatoes???????????????????">potatoes?????????????????...</span>

Either start all over again or just use the &quot;fake&quot; mashed potato if you have it at home. You know the one that comes out of the bag. If the potatoes burned there is nothing you can really do to fix it.

How burned are they?  If they are not too burned just a little brown and crispy I would still use them. I think it adds more flavor.  If they are black you need to toss them and start over.

You can CAREFULLY scrape the unburned portions of the potatoes out of the pan and they won&#039;t taste scorched.
