  1. absdolutly terrible.  sets the child up for trouble

  2. I think your baby would not like that name at all!

  3. Honestly, it sounds depressing. When I think about a baby... the name Sorrow doesn't come to mind.

  4. not to sound dumb or anything, but pretty sad.

  5. I would not recommend it. I am Armenian and have a cousin named Saro (pronounced sarrow) and he gets asked a lot of annoying questions and gets picked on.

  6. to depressing honey!

  7. theyll probably turn emo by age 10. anything depressing is definitely not recommended, it might sound nice to you but thats because you wouldnt have to live with it everyday of your life. just writing the word 'sorrow' on paper makes me feel worse.

    seriously, dont.

  8. congratulation for new arrival , in my opinion no there are much nice names than Sorrow good luck

  9. I don't like it because Sorrow means sad, distress, grief, misery and woe.

But if you want to name your baby Sorrow then go ahead. Its up to you after all your the baby's mother.

    Congratulations and Good Luck!! =)

  10. For me, it sounds good. SORROW.

But if asked what the name means...

    Quite sad.

    The name is kinda lonely.

  11. sorry i dont like it at all

  12. Because when I think new baby, I think sadness and despair. It is a TERRIBLE name.

  13. it does sound kinda nice but has a really negative connotation

  14. no,that is not a good name. it is so sad.

    how about Sparrow?

  15. I don't really like this name because of what the word means but it's up to you

  16. I think you would be setting the child up for a lifetime of grief.  The child would be ridiculed, scoffed at when happy; it's just not a good idea.   How about Sparrow - kinda different, but gives an entirely different tone.

  17. personally i don't like it but then again everyone has there own tastes. some of the names i have picked and suggested to people they don't like but it wouldn't stop me naming my baby any of them.

if you like it..go for it :D:D

    Good Luck!

  18. It sounds nice but isn't the sort of emotion you would want to associate with your child. How about Sorrel? It sounds the same but it's a herb.

  19. You know, I like it too. Sorrow is different and I wish the meaning was different too. But if you look past the meaning, the name is actually beautiful.

  20. I really don't like it, it's depressing and I'd never thank my parents for giving me that name. I know it's your choice, but I'd definitely reconsider it.

  21. I don't feel like i would name a kid that or even a animal that.

When i hear the word sorrow i think of someone that has died.

  22. I think that's an awesome name. Seriously.

Yeah, sure, people are going to think 'omg u dun leik ur bebeh name her/him sunshine' but I think the word/name Sorrow captures the true beauty and strength of sadness.

If you decided to not name her/him Sorrow, how does Tomorrow work?

  23. Its very nice name i like it.

  24. If you like the sound of it... maybe go with a different spelling?

Sorow, Soroe, Sarow, Saro, Serowe etc.

I would just make sure to look up any names or spellings you choose in case there are things you don't want associated with it.

    Hope that helps! :-)

Let us know what you choose!

  25. I'd feel like my parents thought I brought them sorrow if they named me that.  I think it has an excellent sound but can have twisted interpretations, which could be hurtful to the child.
