What do u guys think about 100lb pitbulls?

im just wondering what your guys take is on 100lbs pitbulls? i perfer the working type 40-50 pounders. what do u guys think about breeders who sell such pups for outwards as 1000-2000 souly because they say they are special because they are blue. any opinions are welcomed good or bad .

Pitbulls are pretty.

Dogs usually sell between 1 and 2 thousand anyways.

my dogs were over $2,500 each......I have a newfoundland 170+ lbs and a brindle pit bull 55+ lbs

love them dearly and if you want something price is not something to worry about

Breeders who sells "blue-nose" and "red-nose" pit bulls are usually nothing more then backyard breeders.  Breeders producing only for a color and not for conformation, temperament, or job/show/sport are just as bad.

One hundred pound pit bulls are totally unnatural.  Pit Bulls were meant to be medium sized, heavily muscled dogs, not 100 lb bodybuilders that are wider than they are tall.

100 lbs?  YES  the biger the better and if you train them well they can be great family dogs I appritiate those who like pitbulls and dont put them down

I think any mongrel pitbull above 80 lbs (even that is a very LARGE pitbull) is severely out of confirmation.  I wish that registries would refused to register, and if they do, register them on a limited contract so their pups cannot be registered.  It's sickening what these crack addict f*ckers are doing to this breed.  Bigger ISN'T better when it comes to a breed that is supposed to be AGILE and athletic.  There's no point in a dog that can't work!!!!!!!!!!!

These are my confirmationally correct beauties, though no where near show quality...(though they are a bit on the large side, especially the rednose and black one)  My buckskin is a priceless beauty.

I think 100lbs are good show dogs for kennel clubs.  Currently my 11 month old AmStaff is 50lbs, so she might get up to that area.  As far as selling them at that price, it better come with papers, and the parents have papers, and no tick disease, no heart disease, no bone or joint problems.  Just cause they are blue???  hmmmmm, well people try to sell me blues for 1500 and i just laugh and say find a sucker.  I think blues should go for no more than 1000.......

I myself prefer a True APBT because they can do SO much more than those impostors.

    * They can actually run

    * They can jump high, even run up walls

    * They can grasp a spring pole with no problems

    * They ARE as strong as they look, record for weight pulling is 8,000 lbs! Let's see a Bully do that

    * They can jump from 5ft to even 12ft, with or without a spring pole

    * They are even show material (read standards)

[American Bullies cannot run fast, they end up having problems throughout their lives, they can't jump, they aren't even as strong as they 'look', thus they cannot weight train or jump the spring poles and since they are mutts (Razor Edge) they cannot be bred to show. All they are is bred solely for size and color. Not intelligence, health and loyalty. Most American Bullies carry fighter bloodlines, more than Pit Bulls!]

I'm fine with dogs of any size as long as they are nice.

As for the price, well, unless I was going to show a dog and it had definite champions on each side of it's bloodline, I'm not paying that much for a dog. My price range ends at $500.

there is no such thing. what you are preferring to are those American Bully mutts, which is a disgrace to the REAL Pit Bulls. Pit Bulls are a working breed that what they were bred for, 65lbs. max nowadays but back in the day the true pit bulls weighed only up to 35 lbs.. these mutts cant do nothing they couldnt work if their life depended on it, they are useless and are soley bred for looks.when you breed for color, head size, and stockiness then you are not breeding.

sorry but i think they are way to aggressive and would not be my dog of choice.i also think they are f*cking DANGEROUS why keep breeding them??????????do you get some kind of thrill breeding a dog that can in one split second rip the skin off a grown mans hand or even worse KILL  a child???????????????????????????????????... what is the point???????
