i love westies. i have a westie her name is molly, she is 3 years old. she has never bit anyone. i'll be laying on the couch and she'll lay right next to me. females are more lovable they can give you kisses for hours. males don't like to snuggle. i prefer the females. they are the best dogs ever let me know when you get one.

West highland white terrier: can come in white brown or black, they like to dig, they hunt for mice. their coats are high maintenance, they are a little smaller than beagles, they live up to 15 years (or older) they are great companions, easily trained. they weigh around 15-20 pounds. and that's about it!

i love them i have a 7 month old westie pup i think there really good with people and other dogs and very cute

They're smart and stubborn, very affectionate and energetic.

They are easier to train than most terriers, but you'll still need to be a strong leader, and do obedience from day one.

BUT,

They're people pleasers and are very loving.  Some terriers don't see any point in doing a human's bidding, and insist on their own way.  Westies, tend to be more co-operative.

i love westies!!!  there so cute and loveble!! the only thing not cute about them is they sometimes bit but thats raerly.  it dependes on the personalety.  any way if you google "westies" or "west highland white terrier" and you"ll find more info.

I personally love them.  They are great looking dogs, not too small, and have wonderful personalities.  They are very playful and fun.
