Why don't you look things up on the Internet about Quebec. I'm sure there are some good websites. If you want an opinion, Quebec sees itself as very different from the rest of Canada and is fiercely proud of its language and culture.

I know that if they ever did finally separate, 80% of the province (land wise) would return to Canada along with the native Canadians, the province would be bankrupt in about 6 months and would be begging to come back in 7 months.  There would be no compromises the second time - English only.

Quebec is gorgeous! Especailly 'Vieux-Quebec' or 'Old Quebec' in english. Old Quebec is in Quebec City.

And they are currently celebrating their 400th anniversary!
