An excellent question! I'm American, but I play Irish harp; so I say the music is the best there is! But the people of Ireland are absolute stars--nothing but friendly, generous and welcoming when I've come over on holiday.

And I've never seen any sight on God's green earth more beautiful to me than the wind-driven ocean spray blowing about in the afternoon sun, 800 feet in the air while my wife and I stood atop the Cliffs of Moher.

Oh...and the Murphy's...none better!

You in Ireland have very much to be proud of, and you've had a hard road to get where you are today. You have my respect and admiration, from one harper keeping old tradition alive, in this place far from the tradition's home.

Well, everybody has a great sense of humor there! And I love love love the weather, I seriously do love wet and misty weather! I like the fields and stones. I love visiting castles there! And hanging out with my god brother and father!

The people.

Ireland is a great place, but above all else the people of Ireland are the most interesting and welcoming int he world.

I lived all over the place, but Ireland, (my home) is where I will always come back to!

my favourite thing is that almost every little village/ hamlet (which probably has less than 100 people) has at least one big church...and four or five pubs! suppose a little bit of variety is never a bad thing.....and the Blarney stone!!

Sunday morning fry-up,the pride,G.A.A,tea<3,the accent,the big wide green spaces(though not much left),the Curragh!,ceili's(the odd time)

What i love abut Ireland is that it's my home! Plain and simple i could never move away from the culture and history!!

I'd like to think we have a good fashion sense and we have great educational opportunities here and great literature!!

Looking at other warmer countries, my favourite thing bout Ireland is the fact that while we might get rain, we do not get freak hurricanes and earthquakes. Makes you glad of the bit of rain really
