  1. Where i live an Elementary School is k-5th grade, Junior High or Middle School is 6-8 and High School is 9-12 ages always vary.

  2. Elementary school is grades k-8. 9-12 is high school.

  3. Elementary school is K-5, Middle school is 6-8, and High school is 9-12th grade. Some might disagree with me, but that's that way it is in Northern CA.

  4. Elementary school is where children go for kindergarten, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade. Some states also consider sixth grade as part of elementary school, but mine does not. It differs because Kindergarten is just a one-year grade level in elementary school. Elementary school is kindergarten through fifth grade collectively.

  5. Kindergarden is a part of Elementary School. And depending where you are Elementary ends in 5th or 6th grade. As you progress from you learn more in each subject. Each level building on the last one.

  6. ages 5-12 or 13

  7. Depends on the district..........in California, most elementary schools are K-6th grade, middle school is 7th &8th grades and high school is 9th thru 12th.  I am new to the east coast, and the schools are divided up much differently here.

  8. Kids from 6 to 12 (Grade 1 to Grade 7) go to an elementary school and this happens right after kindergarten.  Kindergarten is more like a pre-school and usually runs, in North America, for 2 and a half hours only.  Children age 5 go to kindergarten.

  9. In my state Elementary

School is Kindergarten through fifth grade, Middle School is grades 6-8, and High School is grades 9-12.
