What do u need for xbox live?

im getting xbox live and was wondering wat i need for it. and is gold version better to get or is the silver one?

the sliver membership comes free with the xbox once you connect to xboxlive the gold membership is needed to play in multiplayer game session with friends..so if you wanna play online get gold membership..

Gold is better since it gives you everything Silver has plus the fact you get to play other people online. First connect your ethernet to a cable modem or router or gateway. Then connect it to your 360. I use cable modem by the way. Next you need to sign up through the process which is very simple. Next they actually give you a month free of gold membership and from there your done! Oh and I forgot their going to want to know what your gamertag will be. When your done tell me your gamer tag!

You need an internet connection and your modem has to be able to plug into the xbox or you need to buy the wireless adapter. Get the gold one.
