What do u need to take and bring back a dog to Laredo,Mexico??

i took my dog to the doctor and gave him vaccinations is that enough to take him and bring him back??

If you are travelling past the 12 mile checkpoint, you must have a  an international health statement for the dog that is less than 72 hrs old when you cross the border, a complete shot record, and a VERY recent rabies shot.  See site below.  since you are only going into Nuevo Laredo, it would appear you do not need all this, but border guards are not always consistent.  Your vet will have this info and it would probably be safer to go ahead and get that paperwork.
