  1. I think it is a beautiful place to go visit. I have not lived there, but have relatives there (I am in central california). I have considered moving there and it is somewhere I would like to live someday. It is a city, but not as overpopulated and dense as LA. It has great weather year round and is close to the beach and Mexico. It is pretty clean and has lots to do-- clubs, shopping, beach, etc.

    Why do you ask?

  2. I used to love San Diego.  I had to move due to health problems relating to the Smog problems.  I moved back to the midwest, and Ive never felt better.

In the mid 90's I used to be able to see some of the mountains in the back ground when looking at San Diego from the ocean.  In recent years, visibility has been so bad.  I haven't been able to see any of them.  Every now and then when they get a good rain you may see a hint of an outline on the horizon, but things are only getting worse.

For a state that prides itself on being environmentally friendly, California sure does suck at it.

  3. Seems like Jeff b. is angry at Mexicans.

He has been reading too much of Samuel Huntington's theories.

San Diego is cool I guess. Only passed by there a couple of times when i went to Tijuana and Rosarito.

Los Angeles, which is The Angels in English, Jeff b., is actually cooler though.

  4. Well other than illegal immigrants that work here and pay no taxes and take home money earned here and items bought at wal-mart tax free, it's one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. Don't get me wrong, everyone deserves a better life, but not being accountable for taxes, insurance, (are you aware of the number of auto accidents from uninsured motorists from Mexico?) and the fact that other jobs are being lost to citizens of the U.S. for a lower wage base is not fair to those who live here. Take for example: in the northeastern U.S. we aren't required to speak French, so why should many jobs in S.D. require us to speak Spanish? If you want to live and work here, you should speak what is spoken here... San Diego is awesome and I hope things can change in the future so that everyone can earn a decent wage and have a good life.

  5. I love San Diego because it is full of adventure and fun! My brother went to college there so I went to visit him
