the trade is biased heavily towards the nets, so no it's not a good trade

the suns don't want vince carter.  they have no need for him.  they have enough fire-power as it is, and why would they lose 2 core players in barbosa and bell (and somewhat tucker as an up-and-comer)

from the knicks perspective, they're just dumping salaries and clearing cap room, though losing david lee really hurts them, because he's loved by fans

thats sick!...i dont know how carter would fare with nash/amare but then david lee/barbosa in the nets is sick!

That's actually a pretty good one! Getting Carter out of NJ to clear up cap space after those guys with the 1 year on their contract are done.
