okay my brothers kneess having betting hurting him for a few years but nothing was wrong with them but finally a few days ago a part of his knee just bulged out its really gross, and so he went to the doctors and they said he would have to stay on crutches for a while and come in for an MRI in a few days so they day he goes for his MRI they said they couldnt find anything and they didnt tell him anything he could do to treat it and there is still something wrong with his knee cuz he cant really walk on it so my parents have to pay 1600 dollars for an MRI which the doctors told us nothing and the doctors are the one that said he needed to have an MRI, so yeah and then they said that he might have to have surgery and put a camera in his knee to try to find out what is wrong with his knee, which we will have to pay more money and if they dont find anything again wow my parents and brother are gunna be pissed, but if they do find something my parents will have to pay for another surgery so they can treat it.

all the doctors want is ur money it is so dumb.

  1. I've had problems with my knees for many years now and one thing is for sure, when you don't have the commonly known problems it will take the doctors time to figure out what's wrong. The doctors has to go through all the things that could be wrong with the knee and they start with the most common things. As they search for what could be the problem they need to do more and more costly searches such as the MRI when they can't find the problem in other ways.

Doctors is not magicians that can find what's wrong from nothing. They are humans and sometimes they really don't know and need to do examinations while they try to figure it all out. They are looking at things and they do the things that's the most logic to do. First just examining the knee by touching it and looking at it, then the MRI then the camera. It's not as if the doctor ordered the most expensive thing he could imagine even though a smaller examination was all that was needed. The machines do not perform miracles and spit out the perfect diagnosis when they are used, they are tools that might or might not help the doctor to find a diagnosis.

It's really frustrating to go through examination after examination without the doctor finding what's wrong, even more so when you have to pay so much for it, but it is how life works.
