What do u tell a five year old

ok so my neighbors bf just died in a moped accident on monday and they have a five year old son. how do u tell a five year old that his dad isnt comming home

This is a tough one and it really depends on the child! How mature is the child and do they really understand what death is. Do they believe in God? You could always explain to the child that their daddy has to live with god now.

Im not sure, but it will come to the person and they should be able to explain it! Good luck with this and my prayers are with that family!
